The Turkiye-Africa Business & Economic Forum (TABEF) 2023 was a resounding success, marked by high-profile attendees and fruitful business meetings.

Opening Session

The day began with a joint session and country presentation that lasted an hour. This session was graced by the presence of distinguished attendees, including the wife of Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff, the Nigerian Ambassador to Turkiye, the Ugandan Ambassador to Turkiye, and the Commercial Counsellors of the Turkiye Embassy in Nigeria.

Business Meetings

Following the opening session, the day was filled with productive B2B meetings. These meetings provided an excellent platform for dialogue and fostered stronger business ties between Turkiye and Africa.

Closing Ceremony

The closing ceremony was a significant event, honored by the presence of the President of Turkiye himself. His attendance underscored the importance of the forum and the commitment to strengthening Turkiye-Africa relations.

Visit to TOBB

The day concluded with a courtesy visit to the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkiye (TOBB). The delegation was cordially received by the Vice President of TOBB, marking a fitting end to a successful event.
