NACCIMA receives high-level delegation from the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia

On Tuesday, 12th August 2025, the National President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Engr. (Dr.) Jani Ibrahim, mni, OON, received a high-level delegation from the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia, led by His Excellency Bambang Suharto.

The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral trade and investment relations between Nigeria and Indonesia, with particular attention to opportunities in minning, agriculture, manufacturing, and technology transfer. Both sides discussed the potential for joint business forums, exchange of trade missions, and enhanced chamber-to-chamber cooperation.

The Ambassador highlighted Indonesia’s interest in Nigeria as a strategic partner in West Africa, noting areas where Indonesian expertise and products could complement Nigerian industrial and agricultural goals. The National President reaffirmed NACCIMA’s readiness to work closely with the Indonesian Embassy to facilitate matchmaking between Nigerian and Indonesian businesses.

The meeting ended with an agreement to explore specific collaboration frameworks and follow-up on concrete trade facilitation measures in the coming months.
