Headquartered in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the Bank has evolved into a group of specialized institutions such as Islamic Development Bank Institute (IsDBI), Islamic Cooperation for the Insurance of Investors and Export Credit (ICIEC), Islamic Cooperation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD), International Islamic Trade Finance Cooperation (ITFC), supporting trade, private sector growth, investment, and capacity development.
The Islamic Development Bank Group Day in Nigeria marks a key milestone in deepening collaboration between the IsDB Group and Nigeria—one of Africa’s most dynamic economies with strong potential driven by its youthful population and entrepreneurial skill.
The IsDB Day serves as a platform to showcase the Group’s services and products aimed at fostering partnerships that will boost investment, trade, and private sector development. The event also aims to drive meaningful collaborations that support inclusive growth, job creation, and sustainable development in Nigeria. The organizer used the opportunity to informed the participants of the forthcoming IsDB Private Sector Forum holding in June 2026 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Delivering the National President’s goodwill message, Hon Ahmad Rabiu informed participants that NACCIMA is Nigeria’s leading organized private sector association, with members spanning various professional and business sectors. The Association has partnered with relevant local and international organizations to build member capacity and drive business growth. He solicited IsDB’s support in knowledge sharing, infrastructure development, and capacity building, reiterating NACCIMA’s readiness to collaborate on projects aimed at improving livelihoods in Nigeria. He stated that NACCIMA will participate in the IsDB Private Sector Forum holding in June 2026 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
