The Investiture of Chief Oloruntele Oduloye, JP as the 5th President of Ikorodu Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the installation of HRM Alaiyeluwa, Oba (Engr.) Kabir Adewale Shotobi (the Ayangburen of Ikorodu) as Life Grand -Patron of the Chamber took place today at the IkoroduTown Hall as Chief Oloruntele Oduloye, JP took over from the outgoing President, Sir, Chief (Engr.) R. O Shodeinde.
Dignitaries at the ceremony included: HRM, Alaiyeluwa, Oba (Engr) Kabir Adewale Shotobi (the Ayangburen of Ikorodu), Representative of Senator Adetokunbo Abiru, Dr. Saheed Ibikunle; Representatives from the Lagos State University of Science and Technology, Dr. Oluwole Ogunyemi (Deputy VC) and Professor Oladipupo Folarin (Deputy VC); the Odofin of Ikorodu, Chief Adewunmi Ogunsanya, SAN and former National Treasurer of NACCIMA, Engr. Professor (Emeritus) Kunle Wahab as well as Ikorodu traditional chiefs. Also prominent were the women members of Ikorodu Chamber (WCCI)
The event was climaxed with the inauguration of members of ExCo for 2024 – 2026, installation of Alaiyeluwa Ayangburen as Grand Life Patron, presentation of Awards and photographs. NACCIMA was duly represented by the presence of the Director-General, Sola Obadimu; Mrs. Funmi Quadri (Membership) Akin-Rotimi Obagbemi (BMCC).
