Monday 27 April 2026, Alhaji Muhammad Yusuf (Sa’in Lere) – Elected Ex-Officio Member, NACCIMA, was inaugurated as Chairman of the Advisory Council of the Waste Pickers Association of Nigeria (WAPAN), with other members, at an impressive ceremony held at AMAC Hall in Abuja. The NACCIMA National President Engr. Jani Ibrahim mni, OON was represented by Dr. Emmanuel Akeh, Director, NACCIMA Abuja Office, accompanied by Mr. Kunle Fadare, Senior Manager at NACCIMA Abuja.
The Advisory Council is expected to provide strategic leadership and advocacy for the rights and professional development of Waste Pickers across the federation, ensuring their contributions to environmental sustainability and the nation’s overall development.
