The 15th edition of the Gateway International Trade Fair, organised by the Ogun State Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (OGUNCCIMA) in collaboration with the Ogun State Government was declared open at the State Fair Complex in Abeokuta today, 10th February 2026 by the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun who was ably represented by the Ogun State Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Investments, Hon Adebola Sofela.
The National President of NACCIMA, Engr Jani Ibrahim mni, OON was ably represented by Asiwaju Dr. Michael Olawale-Cole, 2nd Deputy President of the Association. Also present were the President of ODUACCIMA, Alhaji Wasiu Olaleye; President of OGUNCCIMA, Lion Rafiu Oshiyemi; Engr. Mike Akingbade, a Past President of OGUNCCIMA; Alhaji Yahaya Idris, NVP and President of Badagry Chamber of Commerce; Mrs. Cynthia Saka, NACCIMA National Officer and former President of Ota/Agbara Chamber of Commerce; Sola Obadimu, Director-General, NACCIMA; Hon Bolu Owotomo, Ogun State Commissioner for Agriculture; Engr. Kehinde Akintomide, Permanent Secretary, Ogun State Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investments; Mrs. Oluyemisi Dawodu, Special Adviser on Trade to the State Governor, etc.
In his remarks, the NACCIMA National President commended OGUNCCIMA and the Ogun State Government for putting staging another successful edition of the International Trade Fair. He appreciated the fact that the Gateway International Trade Fair had evolved into one of Nigeria’s notable trade and investment platforms, offering opportunities for businesses and investors to connect, explore new markets, and forge strategic partnerships.
